EMMANUEL POUEY IS THE NEW MARKETING MANAGER OF RAVENTÓS CODORNÍU, THE OLDEST WINE AND CAVA COMPANY IN SPAIN THAT LOOKS TO THE FUTURE AFTER THE PURCHASE OF 80% OF ITS SHAREHOLDING BY THE AMERICAN CARLYLE

Raventós Codorníu, incorporates Emmanuel Pouey into his management team as Global Marketing Director. Pouey will be the worldwide marketing manager of the oldest winery company in Spain, which includes renowned wineries of international prestige such as: Raimat, Codorníu, Legaris, Bodegas Bilbaínas, Parxet, Tionio, Abadia de Poblet, Scala Dei, Raventós de Alella, Portal de Montsant, Mont-Ferrant, among others.

Born in Bordeaux, Emmanuel Pouey grew up among vineyards in the family winery, Château de Pressac, in Saint-Emilion. Emmanuel has more than thirty years of international experience in the consumer market. As a veteran of the wine and spirits industry, before joining Raventós Codorníu, he developed his career for twenty years in the Bacardi Group in France, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom. Among the positions of responsibility he held there, those of Director General of Portugal, CMO of Southern Europe and World Vice President of Innovation stand out.

Pouey has dedicated most of his career to building and strengthening major iconic brands such as Bacardí, Martini, Grey Goose, Bombay, or more recently the Carbonell, Carapelli, Bertolli oils from world leader Deoleo. Much of his projects in the industry have been recognized with numerous awards in international competitions.

Its incorporation into Raventós Codorníu is part of the company’s clear commitment to the value of origin, leadership and the search for authenticity from the land, to turn its brands into referents in the global wine sector.
